Pasta is magic

We want to fill the home gap experienced by children in hospital wards by offering them the joy of learning to make dough. This magical art not only entertains them, but also improves their manual skills and helps them grow in harmony with others.

Our Mission.

The magical art of turning flour and water into maccaroni, butterflies, cavatelli, besides being a very fun game for young children, helps them improve manual dexterity and grow in tune with others. That is why it is important to pass on the knowledge of this art by involving children in the kitchen, just like when our grandmothers did it with us using simple methods.

Pasta is magic

During Smile And Make Pasta workshops we will also teach how to prepare and clear a table, while also giving explanations on the various utensils, cooking equipment and pasta that we will use during the various courses. Products and ingredients will be selected with a focus on quality, sustainability, freshness, location and seasonality.

What we have done so far

Successful Crowdfounding

Thanks to your support, we exceeded our crowdfunding goal of 20 thousand euros on February 15, 2023, gaining media resonance on Rai1 Uno Mattina and more than 20 newspapers.

First workshops

In December 2022, we conducted two exciting workshops at theMilan Cancer Institute, involving 15 to 20 patients including children and parents.

Creating Pasta Making Kit

Thanks to the support of brands such as Miscusi and Marcato Pasta , we were able to take the project forward. So we created the first prototypes of our kits, which were donated during the workshops and used for crowdfunding donations.

Smile and Make Pasta is an APS association.

In October 2023 Smile and Make Pasta becomes an APS Association. Thus begins the adventure that will allow the project to be recognized, supported and welcomed within hospital facilities.
